Hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace Overview

Hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace was the individual residence of Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner and it was constructed in the year 1902. The well-known architect Sir Swinton Jacob planned the palace. This palace was a favorite intention of Lord Mountbatten, Queen Mary, Viceroy Lord Harding, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Sarojini Naidu and many divergent dignitaries. This stately great and impressive building is built around a central courtyard and is intricately carved from the skirting unto the highest dome. The stone 'jali' work (lattice) is awesome and astonishing.
